  • 18 Holes and Ice Cream Join the Pack on August 24th for 18 holes of miniature golf and ice cream.  We are visiting The Magic Putting Place in Manassas (8902 Mathis Ave, Manassas, VA).  The cost is $5.00 per person--mention Pack 1148 for the group plan--and we have use of the Party Deck.  After 18 holes, we'll go next door to Nathan's Dairy Bar for some ice cream.  Check your email for details.

  • Largest Summer Hike Yet Our annual summer hike was a great success.  Over 40 Scouts, friends, and families walked two and a half miles, crossed two fences, and two fences. Everyone had a great time.

  • Annual Summer Hike It is time to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Join us Saturday, August 6th at 7:00pm for the Pack's annual summer hike. The hike is around 2.4 miles and in the South Riding area--check your email for all the details--and covers several types of terrain including grassland, raised walk ways, a couple of short hills, and tree covered paths.

  • Crossover Campfire Success! We had a great time at our first annual crossover campfire.   Thought there was the threat of rain (over 80% chance) our pack made it out and the weather held out for us.All the scouts were able to cross the bridge, pose for a picture and crossover to their new rank.  The leaders decorated them with their new neckerchiefs.It was a great time to recognize their achievements from developing new skills to performing community service to putting on pack events.We were rewarded for our bravery and the rain held off and we had our campfire and cracker barrel.We look forward to a great summer filled with activities and a new scouting year.Thanks to all the ...
